The Bus Federation = Hands-On Democracy.

We do volunteer-driven democracy for our generation. We are workin’ hard to build a great future and to empower great leaders—such as yourself—who will make it even greater.

The Millennial Generation–the largest and most diverse generation in American history–has the power to transform our nation. But we think that’s gonna take more than just voting. It will require volunteering and leading.

The Bus Federation has emerged as one of the most innovative and successful youth organizations in the country. It isn’t just because we dress up like robots (although that’s part of it). It’s because our unique service learning approach (democracy apprenticeships!) combines three synergistic strategies (we learned that phrase in bidness school): increasing democratic participation, fighting for the public interest, and developing a new generation of leaders for the common good.

We’re now poised to transform our regional model into a national network capable of mobilizing millions of voters, passing dozens of bills, and developing hundreds of leaders every year.
